3. CC1 Consultant Contract for Metaformers, Inc.
   Motions:
   

   I recommend award of the Consultant contract with Metaformers, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $336,390, effective April 26, 2007 through July 31, 2007 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.	-	PASS
   Minutes: CC1 Consultant shall perform the following services: Redesign/replacement of contract pay is needed in order to reduce risk of payroll issues in FY08. In addition, improvements will be made in the areas of work flow, time reporter, and data automation. See attached Statements of Work. Metaformers, Inc. was highly recommended by Oracle to provide these services. They will provide three skilled PeopleSoft consultants to perform necessary work along side of our team. Design of the changes were reviewed the week of April 9th with the full team of District staff and consultants in the effected areas. The recommendation to make these changes are supported by the entire group. See attached Metaformers Assessment for additional information. Dr. Robinson requested information on what was unforeseen in implementing PeopleSoft. Mr. Moore provided a brief history of the current issues relating to PeopleSoft. Sharon Swan, Purchasing Director, supports the quality assurance process and stated that she will provide a historical analysis of the entire process within the next six months.
